Peter Hoffman (1984) is based in nowheresville/everywheresville suburbia but working in Chicago and throughout the Midwest. At the base of his personal work is lies an exploration of people and their interaction with the natural and developed landscape. Most recently his work was published in American Photography 26 and shown at the ANKA Gallery of Contemporary Art in Portland. He received his M.A. from the School of Visual Communication at Ohio University. When he’s not photographing he is usually outdoors skateboarding, running, cycling or at home painting. Peter is also an adjunct instructor at Harrington College of Design in Chicago.
