Max Kauffman hails from the middle, where he spent his idyllic youth in South Bend, Indiana(by way of Chicago) rolling between the countryside and the city. He enjoys drawing, dead/ancient cultures, live music, the paint, plank-pushing, nice ladies, ink, clay, an occasional bevy, foods, and of course banter.
