That line is a beauty.

Sam, every story of yours has a moment like this where I feel like I should spend every second of my life trying to write something like it. 

&quot;Baked goods do not forgive.  They’re like the Japanese that way,&quot; (this line killed me, particularly given the history of Korea and Japan that many Americans don&#039;t know about)

Sam, this story may be my favorite of yours yet.  I keep saying that after every story of yours I read.  Sort of Pavlovian (but, uh, not really) I guess.</description>
