Gleaming the Cube is a classic, as is Thrashin'. But those movies only seem charming to me in their kitsch value. I've yet to see literature or film have an interesting go a modern day skating. It's worth a look if you haven't seen it. And, of course, 'Gleaming the Cube' brings the full-on cheese and merits a mention as one of the all time bad films to feature skateboarding. Looks good.
